I will have to try it. All my beets went into pickles and borscht this year(hurray for the pressure canner!). I'll have to wait ofr next years beet crop to try this(store boughts are just not as good as homegrown). Maybe my kid will try it, with the carrot sin. She ate borscht for the first time this year, and the attraction was what the beets did in the bathroom. Yep, she ate them jsut so she could pee pink. *rolls eyes* But, at least she ate them! LOL!
