Corn is also very 'hungry' so you will really need to get compost for that. Also get the shortest season corn seed you can find. I'd like to grow corn. and lima beans, and lettuce and spinach and tomatoes and green beans. plus a healthy number of herbs. so is corn hard Toby? ya think I can do that in one of my squares? and what a MAMMOTH RELIEF it is to hear the "news" about the dog pee. i've lost sleep over that one. hehe thank you soooooo much, i'm feeling much better about this. and i'm also going to be doing the cardboard/mulch thing next fall, plus put in some iris's. so, it's just a matter of seeing if this unprepped ground will produce this year. s ok, so they shut down comments at the Lake, so I’m over here now.
